What We're All About

Welcome to DeFeat CFS - a community of people supporting each other as we work toward regaining our health. Thanks for coming!

CFS (ME, Fibromyalgia, CFIDS or whatever they're calling it this week) is not only a wastebasket diagnosis, it can be a sentence of solitary confinement. If you can find a local support group, you often don't have the strength to leave the house on the day it meets.

Finding an online community can be challenging if you want continuity and forward progress. Not to say that we don't all need to vent our frustrations now and then. But when we do, we'd like to get a lift for a chaser.

My intention in creating this site is to provide a dialogue, an exchange of strategies and approaches, a consistent refill when you're low on energy and an opportunity to find others who are dealing with CFS - those who are determined to be well again, those who are supporting CFS patients and those who are graduates of this cruel disease. The hope is that with each others help, we might get more people back to wellness.
